The Story

You bring the love story. I'll help you tell it well.

I'm Danny Bias, a Southern California wedding officiant, professional storyteller, U.S. Coast Guard veteran, actor, husband of more than 23 years, and proud father of three.

After officiating more than 1,000 weddings, I've learned that the best ceremonies aren't performances built from generic scripts. They're honest reflections of the two people standing in front of me — their personalities, their history, their humor, and the promises they're choosing to make.

My experience ranges from intimate backyard weddings and secret ceremonies to grand celebrations at some of Southern California's most beautiful venues. I also had the unforgettable opportunity to officiate Miguel and Lindy's wedding on Lifetime's Married at First Sight. My work in television and film has made me completely comfortable in front of a crowd or camera, but your wedding will never be about putting on a show. My job is to calm the room, honor your story, and create a ceremony that feels unmistakably like you.

Before becoming an officiant, I served eight years in the United States Coast Guard. I'm also a Heroic Hearts Project alumni, an experience that strengthened my commitment to personal growth, meaningful connection, and being fully present for life's defining moments.

As Seen On

Married at First Sight

I had the unforgettable opportunity to officiate Miguel and Lindy's wedding on Lifetime's Married at First Sight. My background in television and film means I'm completely comfortable in front of a crowd or camera, but your wedding will never be about putting on a show. It's the same presence, warmth, and professionalism I bring to every ceremony, whether cameras are rolling or not.

The Philosophy

What I believe about ceremonies

1

No scripts. No templates.

The best ceremonies are honest reflections of the two people standing in front of me — their personalities, their history, their humor, and the promises they're choosing to make.

2

Every couple is welcome.

I officiate for couples of every background, belief, identity, and orientation — traditional, spiritual, secular, interfaith, playful, deeply emotional, or any thoughtful mixture.

3

Calm the room. Honor the story.

My job isn't to perform. It's to hold space — to calm the room, honor your story, and let the two of you be the center of every moment.

4

Presence is everything.

Seven years in the U.S. Coast Guard and a commitment to personal growth taught me that being fully present for life's defining moments is the most important thing I can offer.
